In 1996, Gerard Lynch and David Stapleton decided to join their two wholesale business’s together to form SL Distributors. In 2004, Geoff Morris acquired SW Distributors and joined Gerard and David as a third partner. SL Distributors employs twenty four staff members and we cover a large portion of the South West District of Victoria.
We distribute a wide range of products including: Beverages, Confectionary, Snacks, Coffee, Packaging and Paper Products, Cleaning Supplies and Firewood. SL Distributors have five dedicated sales representatives on the road visiting business’s and personally informing them of promotional activity, new product release and the latest buying trends. We pride ourselves on customer service and being first to market. We have a 48 hour turnaround from when the order is placed to delivery to your door.
We service all areas on a weekly or fortnightly scheduled roster. We cover a large customer base, some of which include: Petrol and Convenience, Independent grocery, Cafes, Schools and Universities, Clubs, Hotels and Bottle shops, Corner Stores and Takeaway, Milkbars and Mini-markets, Newsagents, Sporting Clubs, Restaurants and Hospitality, Hospitals, Chemists, and Cinemas. SL Distributors buy direct from approximately one hundred suppliers, some of which include: Schweppes, Red Bull, Frucor, Noahs Juices, Bundaberg, Smiths, Snack Brands Australia, Cadbury, Nestle, Mars, Wrigley’s and Stuart Alexander.
We have the support of the O’Kelly Packaging group along with Anchor and Solaris packaging companies to name a few. One of the fastest growing segments of our business is Coffee. So we can offer the freshest product, we buy direct from Four Coffee Roasters on a weekly basis. We have our own Coffee Technician who can offer advice and support, from buying and servicing machinery, to all you need to know about coffee.
